(BGO)- The product Nem nuong Lien Chung (Lien Chung grilled fermented pork roll) of Nem nuong Lien Chung Cooperative (Tan Yen district) has been granted certificate of trademark registration by the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam (under the Ministry of Science and Technology).
Accordingly, the trademark of Nem nuong Lien Chung has dark and light green, light yellow and white colours. This trademark is generally protected for not only the grilled pork roll, its shape or plate of grilled pork roll. The certificate is valid within 10 years.

Nem nuong Lien Chung Cooperative has been established since August 2020 with 17 members including 5 members directly making fermented pork rolls and the others in charge of feeding pigs, slaughtering, supplying fresh and safe meat and marketing. Currently, the Cooperative supplies about 1,000 fermented pork rolls everyday sold at the prices from 35,000 to 40,000 VND (1.3 to 1.7 USD) per each.
“The product granted with certificate of trademark registration has affirmed its quality and got opportunities to reach domestic and overseas consumers. In order to develop the trademark, we have made plan to expand the market to some provinces and cities. Besides, we only permit qualified household members who were granted certificate of food safety to use this trademark”, said Nguyen The Hat, Director of Nem nuong Lien Chung Cooperative.
