“Pink vaccation” youth volunteer campaign launched in Bac Giang

(BGO) –  The Standing Board of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Youth Union) in Bac Giang province on July 10 directed the youth union at some agencies, businesses and Luc Nam district to launch “Pink vaccation” youth volunteer campaign in 2022 at An Khanh – Bac Giang Thermal Power Joint Stock Company in Vu Xa commune, Luc Nam district.

This year campaign is lauched from July 1 till August 31 among the youth workers, public servant, staff and business persons in the province with various activities to protect environment, build e-government, support people to conduct online public service, digital transformation and pay tribute to national contributors among others.

Leader of the provincial Youth Union presents gift to Former Vietnamese Pioneering Youth in Vu Xa commune.

On the occasion, Luc Nam district Party Committee and Habac Nitrogenous Fertilizers & Chemicals Joint Stock Company handed over 20 gift sets to impoverished children, 4 million VND as the sponsorship to two students and 15 million VND to Vu Xa Secondary School to repair the facility.

Meanwhile, the Youth Union at the provincial Business Block and An Khanh – Bac Giang Thermal Power Joint Stock Company cooperated to build humanitarian house worth 200 million VND to poor household Duong Van Thuong in Hoang Lat village.

At the same time, the youth union at agencies provided training assistance of online public service for the youth in Vu Xa commune, launched “Cashless market” model in Cam Ly commune and cleaned up several local cemetaries.

Representatives and Duong Van Thuong commence to build the humanitarian house.

At the same day, the provincial Military Command organized free health examination and medicine supply to about 130 social policy beneficiaries and national contributors in Lang Son commune (Yen Dung district) and launched “Green match” volunteer campaign at provincial Rehabilitation Hospital.

Doctors and nurses at the provincial Military Command provide free health examination and consultation for social policy beneficiaries.

On the occasion, the provincial Military Command asked after and presented gift to 10 social policy families living in difficult condition in the commune. Total expense for gift and medicine was estimated at 55 million VND.
