(BGO)– On November 8, Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Anh Duong who is also deputy head of the Standing Board of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, and Commander of the provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Centre inspected the disease prevention and control in Tan Yen and Lang Giang districts.
After over three months without any new community infection, Tan Yen district has detected 27 Covid-19 patients since October 26 (12 cases from Phuc Hoa commune).

Besides, An Ha commune in Lang Giang district is now a Covid-19 hot spot with 20 infected people relating to Pho coffe. As of November 8, the district detected 45 new patients.
Speaking at the meeting, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong highly spoke of the drastic, promptly and timely response of the Steering Board for Covid-19 prevention and control (Steering Board) at all levels in two above mentioned districts to zone off and prevent the disease infection.
The provincial leader urges the Steering Board in Tan Yen and Lang Giang to keep alarm and ready for more complicated circumstance. The community Covid teams must raise high the role and responsibility to help local authority strictly control the residential area, population mobility to grasp the epidemic factor of returners from other provinces as well as people with cough and fever symptoms.
In addition to disease contain, he ordered the districts to well maintain the production and business to avoid breaking the commodity supply chain; continue speeding up the vaccination rate, effectively applying information technology into disease prevention, especially guiding locals to install PC-Covid app and create QR Code.
The PPC Chairman requested the Steering Board in Tan Yen to drastically maintain disease preventive measures; strive to stamp out the clusters over the next five days; consider to remove the lockdown condition in Phuc Hoa commune and replace by Phuc Le village where many infected cases were detected.
Depending on actual situation, the district must prepare procedure to manage the people form other province entering the local area, strictly control over the residence so as to have suitable handling method for each case.

Besides, Lang Giang district must quickly control over the disease cluster in An Ha commune and others over next five days to definitely avoid community transmission and detect new disease cluster. To match the disease development, the district needs to pilot home isolation for F1 case in this period.
Particularly An Ha commune must keep strict lockdown condition. No one is allowed to leave from the infected localities. The competent forces must keep regular patrol inside each village to remind and handle any violation. The medical workers continue taking sample for screening test.
Local authority should enhance communication task to raise awareness of local people to help them protect themselves and community; impose serious punishment over violated cases as well as take care of the life for people in lockdown areas.
