(BGO) – On the occasion of 2023 Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year, Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Anh Duong on December 20 visited and extended greetings to the embassy of the US, Japan, China and Republic of Korea (RoK) to Vietnam.
At the Embassy of the US to Vietnam, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong informed that Bac Giang province has focused on directing and effectively implementing the tasks and solutions to accelerate the cooperation.

The provincial leader recommended the Embassy of the US to Vietnam to support the province in launching market survey to promote and connect to sell lychee and other local key products; introducing local potential, advantage and investment attraction to join trade exchange in the US.

Deputy Chief of Mission for the U.S. Mission in Vietnam Melissa A. Bishop thanked the due attention from provincial leader to the US and stated that many US enterprises have seeked investment opportunities in Vietnam recently. She was delighted when Bac Giang special fruit of lychee is officially exported to the US and hoped that more farm produce from Bac Giang will be sold to this market in the upcoming time.

Visiting Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yamada Takio, the provincial leader briefed on the economic situation. Bac Giang now had 27 Japanese invested companies with total registered capital of 294 million USD. Vietnam and Japan will mark 50th anniversary of diplomatic establishment in 2023 by various activities and Bac Giang is eager to join them.

Ambassador Yamada Takio thanked the provincial leaders’ effort to improve the investment environment and train Japanese to students. The Japanese Embassy to Vietnam will research and select Bac Giang province to organize “Bac Giang – Japan Meeting” with participation from provincial leaders, JICA and Japanese enterprises.
At Chinese Embassy to Vietnam, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong shared information about investment cooperative of Chinese firms in Bac Giang and thanked the Embassy for their kind intention to the province, especially assistance in consuming farm produce, granting scholarship to mountainous students.
Ambassador Xiong Bo expressed his gratitude to the leader of Bac Giang province and said there are many rooms for mutual development with the province. Apart from granting scholarship, the Embassy will pay attention to building and repairing new schools, encouraging Chinese companies to fulfil social responsibility.
Visiting Korean Embassy to Vietnam, the provincial leader informed that the province plans to extend the scale of Vietnam – Korea Vocational College of Technology. He urged the RoK to support equipment and volunteer to train Korean language as well as introduce more investors to Bac Giang.

RoK Ambassador to Vietnam Oh Youngju was happy for the partial contribution of RoK investors to Bac Giang’s industrial growth. In the upcoming time, many more Korean investors will come to seek investment chance in Vietnam so she called for support from the leaders of Bac Giang province to ease their operation.
At the same day, PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan visited and extent Tet greetings to three foreign direct investment enterprises in Quang Chau and Van Trung industrial parks (Viet Yen district), including SJ Tech Vietnam Company Limited, New Wing Interconnect Technology Bac Giang Company Limited and JA Sola Vietnam Company Limited.
