(BGO) – The northern province of Bac Giang recorded economic growth of 23.98 percent in the first nine months of 2022 as the top leading province nationwide, reported the General Statistics Office of Vietnam.
The province gained high Gross Regional Domestic Product in quarter 2 and 3 consecutively of 24 percent and 23.74 percent. In accummulation, the nine month growth hit 23.98 percent, helping the province rank first nationwide.

The result proved that Bac Giang always maintains growth momentum and create breakthrough by many synchronous and drastic solutions. Strictly following the Government direction, the province effectively implemented the programme to recover and develop the socio-economy; flexibly handle arising urgent issues.
For nine months, the province has attracted over one billion USD of investment capital, up 20.9 percent year on year; adjusted 8 domestic projects to add more capital of 246 billion VND and 31 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects to supplement more 555.97 million USD.
To keep the growth momentum, from now till this year end, the province will continue reforming the business and investment environment; accelerating the site work to create clean land fund and lure big investors; timely detecting and handling difficulties of enterprises.
Besides, the province also prepares necessary condition, especially infrastructure, man power and land to actively welcome the FDI capital switch, particularly from multinational groups in associated with value chain and transfer of advanced technologies, green technology and high efficiency.
