Bac Giang attracted nine investment projects in first two months

(BGO) – Bac Giang province has attracted total investment of 303.3 million USD for the first two months of 2022, representing 51.5 percent year on year, including four new domestic and five new foreign direct investment projects (FDI) with registered capital of 222 billion VND (9.7 million USD) and 102.7 million USD respectively; 10 FDI projects with adjusted capital up to 191 million USD.

Particularly in February, the province attracted investment of 225.8 million USD, accounting for 38 percent of the figure at the same period last year in which there were four domestic projects with registered capital of 222 billion VND (making up 68.3 percent); three FDI projects worth 100.2 million USD (accounting for 17.8 percent) and two FDI projects with adjusted capital up to 116 million USD.

In the first two months of this year, there were 170 newly established enterprises (same number comparing to the same period last year) with registered capital of 1,642 billion VND (down 5.6 times) while 32 companies, branches and offices dissolved (up 68.4 percent) and 199 suspended the operation (up 19.8 percent year on year).
