(BGO)- The Steering Committee for the mobilization campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese products” of Bac Giang province has sent a correspondence to request the provincial departments, agencies, fatherland front, socio-political organizations at all levels and the steering committee for the “Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese products” campaign in the districts and city to join hands in consumption of lychee and other key and signature farm products in 2022.
Accordingly, the Steering Committee has directed to boost advertising, promotion and introduction of lychee and other key and signature farm products in 2022 via the mass media and communication channels.
The related agencies will collaborate with Luc Ngan district to build some promotion programmes on the channels, categories and prime time of Vietnam Television such as the “Good morning Vietnam” programme while well preparing for the send -off ceremony for consumption of lychee in May 2022.
They were urged to continue collaborating to seek and expand the consumption market and attaching importance to both domestic and export markets. The domestic market should be exploited with renewed advertising methods to bring Luc Ngan lychee and other key and signature products in 2022 to all distribution and consumption channels and networks nationwide.
The Department of Industry and Trade was requested to collaborate to open up domestic market and provide incentive support for trade promotion and consumption of the production cooperatives following VietGap and GlobalGap standards.
It is necessary to foster linkage with big distributors, producers and traders, the industrial zones authority, fatherland front and socio-political organizations in Bac Giang and other localities to prioritize promotion for supplying and consuming products of the production cooperatives following VietGap and GlobalGap standards.
Besides, it was urged to make plans for application of digital transformation and technology to sell lychee to consumers through e-commerce platforms while collaborating with the e-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (under the Ministry of Industry and Trade) to sell products on the e-commerce platforms like Voso.vn, lazada.vn, Alibaba.
Some departments and competent agencies should continue guiding firms, cooperatives and traders on lychee processing and packaging procedures for export in 2022 in accordance with requirements and criteria of each market, providing support with advanced technological solutions in production, harvest, preservation, traceability management, inspection, product quality management and management of lychee consumption. Besides, they should provide solutions for maintaining geographical indication protection and trademark protection of Luc Ngan lychee product in Vietnam and abroad.
They should work with the Automobile Transportation Association and transportation companies in the province to build cooperation plans to meet the transportation demand and ensure safe means of transportation to transport lychee for consumption in other provinces
