(BGO) – A large number of people flocked to popular tourist destinations in the northern province of Bac Giang during the freshly-ended national holidays which lasted from April 28 to May 1.

Attractive destinations include Suoi Mo (Luc Nam district), Dong Cao, Khe Ro and Dong Thong (Son Dong district), Bo Da Pagoda (Viet Yen district), Vang stream (Luc Nam district), among others.
Visitors could go fishing or rowing at Khuon Than Lake, Cam Son (Luc Ngan district). Most of

Tourists to Suoi Mo had a chance to contemplate various kinds of flowers, walk on green lawns and enjoy “hat van” (folk spiritual singing) performances at local temples.
According to Duong Van Hoc, director of the management board of the Suoi Moi tourist site, visitors could take a rest at benches along the river, explore waterfalls and take photos while visiting the site.
In Son Dong district, many groups of young people camped overnight in Dong Cao (Thach Son commune). Most visitors chose to bake food at the site. Some groups ordered herbal bath service of Dao people in Thach Son and Van Son communes. Coming to Dong Cao, tourists had a good time on wide grasses and contemplated flowers on mountains. Some new tourist destinations in the province also attracted holiday-makers, such as Da Ong dam (Tan Yen district), Suoi Nua lake and Vuc Reu stream (Luc Nam district), and Nga waterfall (Yen The district). Although not as attractive as ecotourism sites, historical sites and craft villages in Bac Giang such as Vinh Nghiem pagoda (Yen Dung district), Bo Da pagoda, and Tho Ha and Van Ha craft villages (Viet Yen district) also welcomed a large number of visitors during the holidays.

Prior to the holidays, the sector directed all localities to well manage security, order and environmental sanitation. For travel enterprises, the sector increased inspections and asked for the strict implementation of regulations to improve the quality of tourist services, thus better meeting the demand of visitors.
