(BGO) - Recently, a number of locals and relevant agencies of Bac Giang province have placed tourism instruction signs and symbols to facilitate tourists accessing to the tourist destinations which has brought about positive effects.

According to the provincial Steering Committee for Tourism Development (SCTD), in line with investment in construction and improvement of the traffic routes, guide sign leading to the tourist destinations has been paid due attention. Besides, four guide signs to other single sites including Ngac Hai Lake, the ancient ironwood tree, Nga waterfall, Ven village and two guide signs to the Memorial Site of Uncle Ho’s 6 Teachings to the Public Security Forces at Nha Nam commune, Tan Yen district will be placed.
When visiting a new destination, almost tourists want to take impressive photos to share with their friends. In many countries and other provinces of Vietnam with developed tourism, tourism symbols designed quite simple but they are easy for tourists to remember, or to recognize and can mark impression of the trip. In fact, it is not paid due attention at the provincial tourist sites. At a recent meeting, the Provincial Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong, Head of the SCTD requested the SCTD members and locals to submit the plan building typical symbols of the tourist destinations in the province. Besides, they are required to pay more attention to improving natural landscapes and surroundings.
In May, the SCTD will place a guide sign to the community-based eco-tourism area at Ven village, Xuan Luong commune, Yen The district.
Actually, tourism symbol is considered a minor issue but it brings about dramatic effects in tourism advertising and promotion. Nevertheless, not many tourists sites in the province have symbols except Viet Yen district building a big stone carved the scripts “Bo Da pagoda- the special national historical and cultural relic site” in Vietnamese and English which have attracted a lot of tourists posing and sharing their photos on social networks.
