Bac Giang continues strictly supervising and isolating people returning from affected areas

(BGO) – As of March 2, Bac Giang province had 99 peoples returning from Covid – 19 affected areas who are put in concentrated isolation for health monitor at the Center of National Defence Education and Security in Ngo Gia Tu College, Que Nham commune (Tan Yen district) in which 28 cases returned from China and  71 others from Republic of Korea (RoK).

Till 5pm on March 2, all of the isolated cases were in normal health condition without any suspected symptoms.

According to the Department of Health, Bac Giang province had 31 suspected people since the start of the epidemic till March 2 in which 30 cases tested negative to Covid – 19 and one person is now waiting for the testing result and under monitor at the provincial General Hospital.

The case returning from the RoK has his temperature checked at the concentrated isolation center in the Center of National Defence Education and Security.

Bac Giang province has so far recorded no Covid-19 patient. Over 4,600 foreigners are staying in the province, including more than 3,200 Chinese and 1,100 Korean.

Among the disease complicated development, the provincial Steering Board for Covid-19 prevention and control (Steering Board) continues instructing to implement urgent measurements to prevent and fight against the epidemic.

The Steering Board urged the districts and city to review the people returning from the affected areas; the cases directly and closely contacting to the patients within 14 days to put in medical isolation.

Particularly, basing on the suspected factors, the medical sector should promptly detect any infected person to have effective treatment as well as localize the area to control and fight against the epidemic.

Moreover, each person should establish positive habit in practising personal sanitation, keeping clean living environment while regularly washing hands with soap, using face masks when travelling and exposing to many people.

(BGO)- The Department of Foreign Affairs (DoFA) in Bac Giang province has published 60 Chinese quick learning handbooks related to Covid-19 prevention for the officers and soldiers on missions in the foreigners’ isolated area. 
 
Bac Giang focuses on controlling and monitoring health condition of people coming from Covid-19 affected area
(BGO) – As of February 12, Bac Giang province has 15 Covid-19 suspected cases (new strain of coronavirus as called by the World Health Organization since February 12), in which 14 people tested negative to the virus and 1 case is waiting for the test result who is monitored at the provincial General Hospital with stable condition.
