Racing against time
At this time, the hustling and joyous atmosphere of spring is overwhelming everywhere. Walking around the streets of Bac Giang city and the centers of districts, everywhere is filled with the red color of lanterns, flags, flowers and decorative lights.
These days, a lot of people shop for Tet at Big C Bac Giang.
In the Square 3-2 and Hoang Hoa Tham Statue area, dozens of workers of the green park team of the Bac Giang Urban Works Management Joint Stock Company are focusing on renovating parterres, growing bonsai and grass, and installing lights along the main roads and streets. To create a spacious urban landscape and help people welcome a joyful new year, these will be maintained by the end of the first lunar month.
To welcome the new spring, people everywhere, from urban to rural areas, want to decorate their alleys and village roads with flags and flowers. In the industrial zones and clusters, production activities are taking place even more urgently.
At SJ TECH Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park), more than 600 workers are still working in the production lines to promptly deliver products for year-end orders.
This year, according to the plan, the company allows employees to be on Tet leave from January 23 (the 29th day of the 12th lunar month) until the end of January 28 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year). Especially, 10 disadvantaged cases were supported 4.5 million VND per person by the company's leaders and trade union.
Spring has come
In the busy year-end days, everyone takes time to buy necessities as well as renovate and decorate their houses to prepare for the New Year.
On Tet holiday, peach branch, kumquat tree, or fresh flower pots are indispensable in every family to wish for a peaceful and prosperous year. Therefore, the spring flower market is always bustling. The atmosphere of the days near Tet is busier in commercial centers, supermarkets, markets and shops.
On this occasion, the supermarket is applying promotion and discount programmes, attracting about 40,000 customers per day, up 6-7 times compared to normal days and 20 percent compared to last Tet. To meet the shopping needs of the people, we will serve until 2.30pm of the last day of the 12th lunar month and reopen at 10am on the second day of the Lunar New Year

Stalls selling bamboo shoots, vermicelli, sticky rice, green beans, and clothes are always crowded with buyers.
