“Smart school” to be built in Luc Nam High School

(BGO) -  In 2020, the Department of Education and Training will chair the collaboration with the Department of Information and Communication and other agencies to equip the technical infrastructure to Luc Nam High School to realize the “Smart school” model in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.  

This is the first model piloted in the province under the project to boost up the Informatics teaching and application of information technology in the high school in the period 2017 – 2020, with a vision to 2025 according to the Decision No.550 dated September 6, 2017 issued by the provincial People’s Committee.

The “Smart school” model will be realized in Luc Nam High School.

The model is invested 2 billion VND (86,300 USD) mobilized from the provincial budget for the education sector.

The smart school model has been implemented in several educational facilities in Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang cities.

Following the model, the schools will be equipped with classrooms with modern equipment and free internet. The management and teaching activities are flexible basing on the application of information technology. The interaction among the manager to teachers and teachers to students and their parents will be done in the cyberspace.

The “Smart school” model in Luc Nam High School is realized toward the target of renovating and enhancing the effectiveness of education and training activities basing on the application of information technology to control the documents, examination and assess the students.

After the operation, the Department of Education and Training will make an assessment to take the experience then widespread at the eligible educational establishments.
