(BGO) - In response to the Action month “For the poor” 2019 (from 17 October to 18 November) and the social security programme 2020, the Bac Giang provincial Fatherland Front has launched the action plan aimed to mobilize 50 billion VND (2.2 million USD) for the poor and nearly poor households and disadvantage people.
Accordingly, the plan focuses on building solidarity houses, improving information access to the state policies for poor households, renovation of working methods and how to enrich the families.
Nguyen Thi Dinh in Viet Tien commune (Viet Yen district) lives happily in the new house.
Public officials and laborers in the armed forces, enterprises and public-service delivery agencies are expected to donate at least one-day’s wage/income. Business establishments are expected to donate at least 50,000 VND (2.1 USD) while each household is mobilized from 20,000 VND (0.9 USD) except for the poor and nearly poor households.
Private enterprises shall call for donation from their workers and use part of the company’s profit to support the campaign. The donation can be in cash or materials (brick or cement) to help poor households build houses.
Currently, the Fatherland Fronts at all levels are fostering propaganda about the campaign to the grassroots striving to fulfill the plan and pledge “Leaving no one behind”.
The campaign is scheduled from 17 October to 18 November 2019. Any support is kindly requested to send to the provincial Fatherland Front of Bac Giang province at the address: 3rd floor, B building, Inter-Agency Headquarter of Bac Giang province, 3/2 square, Bac Giang city or bank account number 3761.0.1062613, target program code 91046 at the provincial State Treasury.
