Over 20 billion VND invested in equipment and classroom for English study

(BGO) – Implementing the Project to renovate English
teaching and studying in high schools in the period of 2016 – 2020, the People’s
Committee in Bac Giang city has to date invested over 20 billion VND (over 862,000
USD) in purchasing the equipment for normal and special English learning
Among them, 254 normal classrooms and 20 special rooms with smart equipment for teaching foreign languages have been completed in secondary and primary levels, exceeding the proposed schedule as well as helping encourage the teachers and students to teach and study foreign language actively.

Many schools in the province have organized the English lesson with foreign teachers and assistants to develop the students’ listening – speaking skills.
The municipal educational sector set a target that all students will complete A1level in the foreign language skill framework after graduating from primary school and more than 50 percent of students can communicate in English after finishing secondary school by 2020.
Cultural exchange at English camp
(BGO) – The English camp 2018 jointly held by the Department of Education and Training (DoET) and Hanoi based English Institute in July 7 – 27 at Ngo Si Lien High School (Bac Giang city) brought several benefits to the students such as an opportunity to daily communicate in English, learn about American culture and further understand the lifestyle of international youth.

Dozens of local children and adolescents were eagerly learning and practicing English activities with their foreign and Vietnamese teachers in an English class on Sunday morning in Phap Van pagoda in Hanoi’s Hoang Mai district.
