Scholarships granted to impoverished students

(BGO) – The Study Encouragement Association in the northern province of Bac Giang has granted the scholarships to 7 difficult students at Bac Giang High School for Gifted Students achieving the good academic result. 

Accordingly, each student is provided with a monthly scholarship worth 500,000 VND (21.56 USD) in 12 months.

The representatives of the provincial Study Encouragement Association present the scholarships to the students.

A total expense of 42 million VND (over 1,800 USD) is mobilized from the provincial Study Encouragement Fund and donation of various philanthropists to support them overcome the challenges, study well and change the life.

Since 2018, the provincial Study Encouragement Association has coordinated with Sam Sung Electronics Vietnam Company Limited, Bac Giang branch of Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group and others to present the scholarships to more than 1,000 excellent students living under difficult circumstances and 127 students with high prizes at the provincial, national and international competitions totally worth over 1 billion VND (over 43,100 USD).

The Ho Chi Minh City Study Encouragement Association on October 28 granted scholarships worth (77,400 USD) to more than 500 students.
RoK firms present scholarships to poor students in Binh Duong
The Republic of Korea Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KOCHAM) presented 241 scholarships totaling about 600 million VND (25,800 USD) to poor students in the southern province of Binh Duong on October 19.
