English Festival held under “Tet Holiday” theme

(BGO) – Le Quy Don Secondary School (Bac Giang city) on
January 8 organized English Festival under the theme of “Tet Holiday”, drawing
nearly 650 students at the schools, the staff, teachers and parent
representatives of 19 classes.
The students had a chance to enjoy the exciting atmosphere to welcome the traditional Tet holiday via many activities of learning to make Banh Chung, decorate peach and apricot flowers, making greeting cards in English to teachers and relatives as well as preparing Tet feast among others.

Besides, the students heartedly exchanged with the foreign teachers from Thong Nhat English Center, performed art show, hip-hop dance… Concluding the event, the organization board awarded 4 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 6 third prizes and several consolidation prizes to the classes.
The English Festival is an extracurricular educational activity to help the students practice the communication skill in English and understand the traditional custom in Lunar New Year.
Free English classes offered at pagoda: Hanoi
Dozens of local children and adolescents were eagerly learning and practicing English activities with their foreign and Vietnamese teachers in an English class on Sunday morning in Phap Van pagoda in Hanoi’s Hoang Mai district.

(BGO) – My Do secondary school (Bac Giang city) has coordinated with Hanoi - based GDO Online Education and Communication Joint Stock Company (GDO) to gift 57 online English learning accounts to the students of impoverished and policy beneficial families.
