Bac Giang is among localities with highest rate of compulsary social insurance coverage

(BGO) – The Vietnam Social Insurance has recently evaluated Bac Giang is one of six provinces and cities reaching the highest rate of compulsory social insurance (CSI) coverage across the nation.

To date, Vietnam has over 14 million people participating in the compulsory social insurance, accounting for 96.2 percent, in which over 229,000 participants are from Bac Giang province, making up 100.5 percent of the assigned plan in 2018.

The figure helped the province rank sixth place out of nine provinces and cities that have the number of CSI participants higher than the national average rate.

To firmly maintain the achievement, the provincial Social Insurance should keep reviewing, analyzing to correctly specify the subjects for compulsory CSI participation and those who have yet to participate in the insurance so as to build up the suitable plan to develop the subjects while definitely handling the agencies violating the insurance policy.
