The PACANGEL 2017 also assisted six pre-schools, primary schools and two healthcare stations in Tam Dan commune in Phu Ninh district and Binh Dinh Nam commune in Thang Binh district in installing iron roofs, lighting and clean water systems.

Doctors of the programme also share the professional experience with their Vietnamese counterparts in controlling and treating a number of diseases, including diabetes, high blood pressure, and maternal and child healthcare.

Head of the programme, Lieutenant Colonel Benjamin Doyle said that the PACANGEL was launched 10 years ago, aiming to promote the cooperation and friendship among countries through humanitarian activities.
