(BGO)- The provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province on January 18 morning held a conference at the provincial Convention Center to review the 2021 emulation and commendation work and launch the resolutions of the Government, provincial Party Committee and People’s Council on socio-economic development in 2022.
Although the province faced numerous difficulties and challenges in 2021, it has gained many significant results. The emulation movements were launched and widely implemented attracting involvement of the mass of people contributing to fighting against the pandemic and fulfilling the socio-economic development goals and duties.
Authorized by the Prime Minister, PPC Secretary Duong Van Thai presents Third Class Independence Medal to former PPC Secretary Bui Van Hai.
The provincial People’s Committee carried out the plan on implementation of the Government’s Resolution No 1, Resolution of the provincial Party Committee (PPC) and People’s Council regarding key tasks and measures for implementing the socio-economic development plan and state budget estimate in 2022. Accordingly, the province worked out 9 key tasks and measures.
Speaking at the event, Duong Van Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, PPC Secretary, Head of the province’s delegation of the National Assembly deputies highly appreciated and praised the achievements and contributions of the levels, sectors, localities, party members, public officials, business persons, enterprises, arm-forced soldiers and people of all strata to the impressive achievements gained by the province in 2021.
Authorized by the Prime Minister, PPC Standing Vice Secretary Le Thi Thu Hong awards Second-class Labour Medal to PPC Secretary Duong Van Thai and Third-class Labour Medal to Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong.
In order to successfully fulfill the set targets in 2022, the PPC Secretary urged the levels, sectors and localities to launch the emulation movements aiming at solving hard and complicated issues and life problems, which require innovation and creative in implementation.
At the event, Le Anh Duong, PPC Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee launched the patriotic emulation movement themed “Fostering solidarity, creativity and emulation to achieve the “dual goals” of containing Covid-19 pandemic and maintaining and boosting production and business to fulfill all targets of 2022”.
Of which, it is necessary to focus on effective implementation of the general plan on the pandemic fight in the new normal with safe and flexible response to effectively contain Covid-19 pandemic and protect people’s health which should be considered an important and urgent task for all levels and sectors right at the beginning of 2022.
Authorized by the Prime Minister, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong gives certificate of merit to the outstanding individuals.
At the conference, PPC Secretary gave the Third-class Independence Medal of the State President to Bui Van Hai, former member of the Party Central Committee, former PPC Secretary, and former Chairman of the provincial People’s Council. Besides, PPC Secretary Duong Van Thai was awarded Second-class Labour Medal and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong received Third-class Labour Medal.
On this occasion, 216 collectives and individuals were awarded labour medals from the State President, certificates of merit and emulation flags of the Government, provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
