Socio-economic issues a focus at NA on October 26

Legislators will begin discussions on socio-economic issues on October 26, the fifth working day of the 14th National Assembly’s sixth session.

The debates will continue on October 27 and 29, and be broadcast live by the Vietnam Television, Radio the Voice of Vietnam and the NA’s TV channel.

A working session of the 14th National Assembly’s sixth session.

Before the discussions, the deputies will hear reports on the realization of the legislature’s resolution on the socio-economic development plan in 2018, the three-year implementation of the 2016-2020 plan, and the socio-economic development plan in 2019.

They will also assess the three-year implementation of the plan for economic restructuring for the 2016-2020 period and policies in support of socio-economic development in ethnic minority-inhabited and mountainous areas.

The Resolution No. 100/2015/QH13 on investment in national target programmes for 2016-2020 will also be tabled.

During the process of discussion, Government members will give explanations on issues of question if requested.
