(BGO) – The Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Linh on January 11 paid a visit and extended New Year greetings to China’s Ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiao Yong on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year with the leader of the provincial Department of Foreign Affair in attendance.

In the working session, Ambassador Hong thanked the provincial leader for their warm greeting and affirmed that the Chinese Government and Party highly appreciated the traditional bilateral friendship. Personally, the Ambassador has supported the strategic coordination programmes for a comprehensive development between the two nations in general, including Bac Giang province. He was ready to help the local authority to deal with the difficulties in investment attraction or act as a bridge to introduce the Chinese enterprises to Bac Giang.
Meanwhile, Chairman Nguyen Van Linh briefed the Ambassador on the provincial general socio-economic development last year and stressed on the enormous contribution from Chinese firms. Currently, the province is home to 321 foreign direct investment (FDI) businesses, 89 of which are from China, second ranking in the numbers of countries and territories invested in the local area, he revealed.
Additionally, Chairman Linh thanked the Ambassador’s attention to the province over the past years and informed about the construction of the logistics center in the Bac Giang city with a crucial role to develop the local industry. The provincial leader wished the Ambassador to introduce the Chinese enterprises to invest in the center and the sectors of trading and service.
On the occasion of the upcoming Year of the Dog 2018, Chairman Linh sent the Tet greeting to the Ambassador Hong, hoping for a glorious development in the deep relations between China and Vietnam in general and relation with Bac Giang province in particular.
The Vice Permanent Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lai Thanh Son sends Tet greeting to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (RoK) to Vietnam Lee Hyuk.
At the same day, the Vice Permanent Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lai Thanh Son and leader of Department of Foreign Affairs visited and extended the Tet greetings to the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (RoK) to Vietnam Lee Hyuk.
Vice Chairman Son briefly informed the Ambassador Lee about the socio-economy and investment from RoK’s businesses in the local area. He stressed that RoK is the first ranking country in terms of project numbers and second in the registered capital among the nations and territories invested in Bac Giang province, which positively contributes to the local socio-economic growth.
Lai Thanh Son hoped the Ambassador would further introduce Bac Giang province to the RoK’s investors as well as establish the friendship relationship between the area and RoK’s provinces and city. He affirmed to create the optimum conditions for the Korean investors by the advantages in geology and abundant manpower.
Ambassador Lee expressed his delight and belief in the close diplomacy relation between RoK and Vietnam in general and relation with Bac Giang province in particular. He highly evaluated the local potentials, advantages and investment environment, affirming to continuously facilitate and connect the Korean enterprises to seize for investment opportunities and relationships in the province.
Vice Chairman Son took the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year to extend the Tet greeting to the Ambassador and wished for more evolutional bilateral relation in general and relation with Bac Giang province in particular.
