According to the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the festival aims to honor the traditional and historical values of the city, thus encourage locals to continue preserving and promoting them.

Along with traditional dances such as lion dance and dragon dance, the artists also revived the traditional wedding of Hanoi people, together with an “ao dai” (traditional long dress) show, and some sports performances.
