Bac Giang is the province with high increasing load, especially at the industrial parks, clusters and adjacent areas. Currently, several substations in these areas have been full and overloaded so it is an urgent task.

The project foundation is concreted.

To recover the issue, Bac Giang Power Company has mobilized 22.5 billion VND (990,850 USD) from basic consumption capital in 2022 of Southern Power Corporation and commercial loan to invest in the project.

As scheduled, it will be completed and energized within second quarter of 2022 to supply power to 110kV Quang Chau Substation, ensure safe and continuous power distribution to boost up socio-economic growth in Viet Yen district, prevent the overload condition for 1100kV line from 220kV Quang Chau Substation (Viet Yen) in the period 2021 – 2025.

Also, the project satisfies the demand of load increase and power quality improvement, which suits to the Plan of Power Development in Bac Giang province in the period 2021 – 2025 with the vision to 2035 approved by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
