(BGO) – Bac Giang province has attracted 29 projects with total registered capital of 390.3 million USD in the first 4 months in 2020, up 34.3 percent comparing to the same period last year.
The provincial authority licensed 22 domestic projects with total registered capital of 2.3 trillion VND (100.1 million USD) and 7 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects totally worth 73.7 million USD while adjusting 2 domestic projects and 11 FDI projects to add capital up to 142 billion VND (6 million USD) and 209.7 million USD respectively.
The investment attraction to Bac Giang province increases 34.3 percent in first 4 months.
In April, the province attracted 10 projects with total registered capital of 151.3 million USD, up 4.3 times against the same period in 2019 including 8 domestic projects worth 167.4 billion VND (7.1 million USD) and 2 FDI projects with registered capital of 7.6 million USD.
At the same time the province gave a nod for 5 FDI projects to increase the registered capital up to 136.6 million USD.
There were 128 newly established enterprises in the province in April, making up 7 percent year on year increase with total registered capital of 1.2 trillion VND (51.6 million USD), down 10 percent.
In accumulation, 317 new businesses have been established in the province for 4 months with total registered capital of 2.4 trillion VND (104.3 million USD), down 20.5 percent while 30 businesses and branches dissolved the operation (up 7.1 percent) and 219 firms and branches suspended the activities (up 49 percent comparing to the same period last year).
