Bac Giang draws over 1,100 projects in socio economic development

(BGO) – According to the competent agencies, Bac Giang province has attracted more than 1,100 investment projects in various socio-economic development aspects, making the total number of projects up to 1,482 in the province since 2010.

The figure includes 1,134 domestic investment projects with the total registered capital of 81.9 trillion VND (3.5 billion USD) and 348 foreign investment projects totally worth 4.1 billion USD.

The main sectors mostly comprise of electronic component production and fabrication with 160 projects (accounting for 20.88 percent of the total industrial projects); construction material production (brick) with 86 projects (11.22 percent); garment and textile manufacturing with 78 projects (10.18 percent); mechanical fabrication with 74 projects (9.66 percent) and others projects in the field of wood processing and production, farm produce processing, clean water production and mineral processing.
