The households are provided a part of agricultural materials like fertilizers, plant protection product, training course and document to guide the cultivation method and technique. The crop is grown from October 2022 and harvested in January 2023.
Local farmers said the variety is well developed with low fatality rate and suitable to the soil and climate condition in Cam Son commune.
The Center Director Lam Nguyen Nang informed the chilli can be harvested now. The early grown areas gave third harvest batch and prepare for the next one with average weight of 28 – 32 fruits per kg and productivity of 2 – 2.5 tonnes per sao (old measuring unit equals to 360 square meters).
The model proved that this variety is suitably to develop in highland localities in Luc Ngan district.
