(BGO) – Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) has produced more than 10,300 tonnes of Chu rice noodles for the first nine months of this year, up nearly 1,000 tonnes year on year, 600 tonnes of which were exported, representing 10 percent increase of expanded market. Total commodity value hit nearly 325 billion VND (14.3 million USD).
To meet the customer demand, together with traditional rice noodle, the cooperatives, working groups and local households have focused on producing high quality organic products with five colours.

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the demand for this product is sharply increased, forcing producers to accelerate the production.
The noodle is smoothly consumed at domestic and foreign markets of Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, France, Czech Republic, Cambodia, Lao, China and German.
The exported product is sold at 10 – 20,000 VND higher price than in domestic market.
The district has 28 businesses and cooperatives to produce and consume noodles. Currently, they are planning, preparing the capital, materials and sign contracts to serve year end market and 2022 Lunar New Year occasion.
The district People’s Committee and Department of Industry and Trade has collaborated to timely disburse the capital to support these facilities to buy machine, labels, stamps and packages as the provincial industrial encouragement project.
