Since early 2022, about 5,900 enterprises have cleared customs procedure at BNCD. Total import export turnover hit 176.6 billion USD in 2022 at the area under the BNCD management, helping it rank first nationwide. Building the partnership among Customs-Business-relevant parties is considered key factor to create high consensus in business community.

With such target, the BNCD has recently worked with big companies. In Bac Giang province, the Department surveyed and discussed with Foxconn Group which consists of Funing Precision Component Company Limited; Fuhong Precision Component Co.,Ltd; New Wing Interconnect Technology Co.,Ltd; Fuyu Precision Component Co.,Ltd and Fukang Technology Co.,Ltd.

The Group gained total import – export turnover of 15 billion USD in 2022 with huge number of labours, helping greatly contribute to local socio-economic growth. However, Covid-19 pandemic and world crisis caused severe impact on the production. The import and export revenue dramatically dropped in January 2023.

At the meeting, Foxconn Group shared about the production and business then proposed several contents. In the upcoming time, the BNCD promised to assign staff to regularly supervise the grass roots and timely remove the difficulties of the enterprise or report about the proposal to higher authority.

Previously, the Department held talkshow to clarify the question from the firms, popularize new mechanism policy and regulation relating to import export activities.

Meanwhile, the BNCD has piloted programme to support business which voluntarily obey customs law. Such participation firstly brings benefit to the business community; enhance the management efficiency of customs department and state body to create healthy business environment.

The BNCD’s activities aim to further facilitate the businesses’ development, especially amid numerous difficulties and challenges.
