On November 28, 2022, the General Director Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuc of BAGICO in Bich Dong town, Viet Yen district and General Director Sisuphan Phosaysi of Xaysomboun Development Fund inked the cooperative agreement with validity till 2025.

The provincial leaders in Bac Giang and Xaysomboun provinces witness the signing ceremony between the General Director of BAGICO and General Director of Development Fund in Xaysomboun province.

Accordingly, BAGICO committed to support and transfer software technology of digital transformation in agriculture (Agrilao) and linkage chain to consume farm produce to Xaysomboun Development Fund within three years and total value of one million USD.

It aimed to deliver the software technology, apply into tracing the farm produce origin, grant Certificate of Origin to castle raised in Xaysomboun province, linkage chain for production, transfer technology of castle farming and linkage for purchase in this province.

BAGICO is in charge of supporting the Development Fund to apply Agrilao into managing, supervising and tracing the origin of castles, assign experts to consult, deliver the technology among others.

The Xaysomboun Development Fund must dispatch representatives to directly receive the technology then implement the technology application at highest efficiency. Besides, the Laos counterpart will supply necessary data for the cooperation.

Xaysomboun working delegation works with Son Dong and Luc Ngan districts

(BGO) - The working delegation from Xaysomboun province of Laos led by Secretary of the Party Committee and provincial Governor Phoikham Houngbounyuang on May 31 paid field trip to Son Dong and Luc Ngan district of Bac Giang province. The delegates were accompanied by Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Mai Son.

Bac Giang, Xaysomboun coordinate in realizing cooperation agreement

(BGO) - Leaders of Bac Giang province had a working session in Bac Giang city on May 30 with their counterparts from Xaysomboun province of Laos to promote the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the two provinces signed in August 2021.

 

New milestone in Bac Giang - Xaysomboun relations

(BGO) - To promote activities under the cooperation agreement between the two provinces, Phoikham Houngbounyuang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Xaysomboun province of Laos will lead a delegation to visit Bac Giang province from May 29 to June 1.

 

Bac Giang-Xaysomboun: Far away but close

(BGO) – Despite a geographical distance of about 800km, Bac Giang province and Xaysomboun province of Laos have become close after the two provinces' governments signed a cooperation agreement, contributing to fostering the Vietnam-Laos relations in general.
