(BGO) - “I used to take a part-time job with a wage of 25,000 VND (1.1 USD) per hour in exchange for experience. Even I worked as a clothing sales collaborator to access goods supplies and start a business.” That is the sharing of Trinh Minh Hang (born in 2000), a native of Bac Giang province, about the process of starting a business and earning an income of up to 100 million VND (4,300 USD) per month from the age of 19.
Hang said that she herself loved business. After finishing high school and passing the entrance exam to the University of Economics (Vietnam National University-Hanoi), Hang made money by herself as a tutor. As a student of the school for the gifted for 12 consecutive years, with confidence and good communication skills, she received a salary of 200,000-250,000 VND (8.7-10.87 USD) per two-hour tutoring session.
A female student from Bac Giang has earned an income of 100 million VND since she was 19 years old by working 3-4 different jobs at the same time.
In exchange for experience, Hang also applied for a part-time office job at an information technology company with a wage of 25,000 VND (1.1 USD) per hour.
“What I did at that time were inputting data, writing job postings posted on the company's website, reviewing profiles and calling candidates to make an appointment… After 9 months of working, I learned a lot of things, from how to communicate with strangers, writing skills, and personnel work...", Hang said.
Realizing that office work was not suitable for her and he had accumulated quite a lot of experience, Hang started again as a clothing sales collaborator. After about 2 months, she began her own business and now has her own collaborators.
Ensuring her study and doing business in women's fashion at the same time, Hang was also invited by some units to be photo models. In addition, she engaged in product advertisement and took advantage of social network platforms such as TikTok, Youtube and Instagram to make money. Therefore, at the age of 19, Hang had an income of over 100 million VND per month.
Currently, Hang owns her own fashion brand while still pursuing her study at university.
Currently, she owns a TikTok channel with more than 700,000 followers, an Instagram channel with 45,000 followers and a Youtube channel with 50,000 subscribers. These are also channels for her to reach customers, market products, and support her work.
Sharing her plans in the near future, Hang said that she will further develop her current social network platforms and learn more about investment, and may combine online selling and opening of a fashion boutique from her current fashion brand.
