Bac Giang highly focuses on emulating to realize dual target from early day

(BGO) – Launching the emulative movement and instructing to implement it in early days after Covid-19 pandemic was controlled, the organizations, agencies and localities in the northern province of Bac Giang have created excited working atmosphere and determined to well fulfill the socio-economic target in 2021.

Efforts taken to implement targets

Right after the pandemic was controlled in the province, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee has launched the emulative movement to successfully realize the “dual target” with focal point to well contain the Covid-19 pandemic, recover the business and production, develop the socio economy, maintain political stability, ensure the national defence, security and social order.

Recently, the project to revamp, upgrade and extend Tran Phu road to the belt road in Chu town (Luc Ngan district) has been speeded up. Taking the advantages of weather condition, the most of the engineers and workers at Tan Thinh Construction Company Limited present at the construction site.

After completion, the project will help reduce the traffic load for national road No.31 and facilitate the consumption of farm produce.

Apart from accelerating the completion schedule of traffic project and technical infrastructure for residential areas, Luc Ngan district has focused on making plans to harvest and consume citrus fruits in attachement to pandemic prevention and control. This year, the district has grown 6,700 ha of citrus fruit trees with estimated output of over 50,000 tonnes of fruits.

Firmly keeping the pandemic prevention results to resume growth rate

The statistic from the Division of Emulation – Reward (Department of Home Affairs) proved that the organizations, agencies and localities have basically made emulative plans in close connection to professional tasks.

Amid the severe impact of Covid-19 pandemic, the provincial socio economy in the first six months gained several positive results with GRDP growth rate of 4.3 percent, nearly 761 million USD of investment (nearly 4.6 fold year on year increase). Bac Giang also rank 8th nationwide in foreign direct investment attraction. The educational quality is maintained and social welfare is secured.

One of the key tasks in the emulative period to realize the “dual target” is to resume the same growth rate by the end of August as the time before the pandemic outbreak and strive to gain higher one.

To achieve the goal, the Planning and Investment Department continues consulting to shorten the time to handle the administrative procedures, especially relating to investment field. The districts and city enhance to organize meeting and exchange events to timely solve the difficulties to help business stabilize production while accelerating administrative reform, increasing the ranking for such indicators of competitiveness, effectiveness of public administrative management and satisfaction.

Currently, 585 enterprises in the provincial industrial parks and clusters have resumed operation. Particularly, big companies have quickly recovered with 80 percent of labours comparing to the period before the pandemic outbreak.

According to Nguyen Van Phuong, Chairman of Viet Yen district People’s Committee, the district has promptly implemented measures to support the people and businesses affected by Covid-19 pandemic, held auction sessions at the completed residential areas to create budget collection source and removed the bottle neck in land clearance.

The district Party Committee also launched the emulative movement in Covid-19 prevention and control, particularly enhancing the quality and effectiveness of Covid-19 community group, buiding safe residential area and boarding house to facilitate labours and business in production.

The administrative procedure is handled at the one-stop shop division in Tang Tien commune (Viet Yen district).

To fast recover the post pandemic socio-economic growth and firmly keep the result of pandemic prevention, the province continues instructing to organize activities to connect human resource supply and demand among businesses and training facilities per aspects; ensure the social welfare and build profession and dynamic officials and cadres.

The leaders of the party organizations and authorities should raise their responsibility; launch widespread and effective emulative movements to encourage the officials, party members and people to complete the socio-economic indicators in 2021 at highest level; timely honor and reward outstanding organizations and individuals at all fields.
