Bac Giang: Export turnover hits over 7 million USD

(BGO) – Statistic from the Department of Industry and Trade proved that the export turnover in the northern province of Bac Giang has hit about 7.6 million USD for 9 months, accounting for 80.6 percent of the target. The biggest export markets included China, Republic of Korea, the US, India, Spain and others. 

The major export products are garments and textile, shoes, computer, electronic products, telephone and components of all kinds.

Export turnover hits over 7 million USD for 9 months in Bac Giang province.

The high export turnover was achieved thanks to the activeness of the enterprises to prepare the measures and plans to ensure the production for export orders. Several businesses have made creative method and innovation to restructure the production, especially garment ones. Instead of manufacturing fashion items, the garment companies changed to produce face masks and protective suits for export.

Besides, several businesses actively searched for new markets to import materials and export products while the EU, US, Japan, RoK, China... suspended the import and export activities for Covid-19 prevention and control.

Additionally, the Vietnam – EU Free Trade Agreement officially takes effect, helping bring new opportunities for export activities in the late months of this year.

Taking this chance, the local competent agencies have joined hands with the enterprises to prepare the necessary conditions, actively implement the plans and solutions to support the export activities with the most smooth manner to the EU market.
