Revenue of enterprises in Bac Giang’s IPs hits over 4.4 billion USD

(BGO) – According to the statistic, 286 projects in the industrial parks (IPs) in the northern province of Bac Giang have operated officially and brought back a total revenue of over 103 trillion VND (4.4 billion USD) for 9 months, up 32.4 percent  comparing to the same period last year.

The import value was estimated at 3.9 billion USD, increasing 20 percent while the export value reached about 4.05 billion USD, rising 17.4 percent against the figure last year.

Besides, the enterprises and projects at the IPs create jobs to more than 111,000 labors, increasing 20,000 people comparing to the same period in 2018 with average income of 6.7 million VND (289 USD) per month.

Among them, 80 percent of the labor are locals with 70,000 women and 97,000 cases covered by social insurance (accounting for 87.4 percent).

Jan-Aug period sees 90,500 newly established enterprises
